A national retailer client was concerned about the service charge demanded for their shop unit in Uxbridge - it seemed high when compared to other similar units.

We carried out an investigation into the service charge and uncovered that the landlord had been charging the tenant 47% of the service charge when the proper proportion due was 30%. We recovered almost £9,000 for the client for five years’ overpayment.
